This option would be helpful for the user to mark the child absence in group and can edit the absence record via Group Sign In.

Type- Children who were scheduled to attend but did not have a sign-in record.

  • Click Record Child Absence in Functions Page. Record Child Absence page 1 will be displayed:

  • Select the Date Range in between the From and To date

Note: The From and To date range must be less than 7 days.

  • Select Classroom from the list.
  • Select the Absence Type as -Children who were scheduled to attend but did not have a sign-in record.
  • Click Submit, Record Child Absence Page 2 will be displayed with the list of Children who were scheduled to attend but did not have a sign-in.

  • Select the children else select Sel  to select all the children from the list.
  • Select the Reason Code from the list. Its Mandatory to select the Reason Code
  • Enter the notes if any in Notes.
  • Click Next, Record Child Absence confirmation page 3 will display.

  • If the child records are correct click Submit, else click Back.
  • The success message of child absence information will be displayed.


Type- Children who have been marked absence previously via Group Sign-In.

  • From the Record Child Absence Page 1, Select the Absence Type as Children who have been marked absence previously via Group Sign-In.
  • Click Submit, Record Child Absence Page 4 will display the details of children who have been marked absence previously.

  • Select the children else select Sel to select all the children from the list.
  • Update the Reason Code from the list. Its Mandatory to select the Reason Code
  • Update the entered notes if any in Notes.
  • Click Next, Record Child Absence confirmation page 5 will display.

  • If the child records are correct click Submit, else click Back.
  • The success message of child absence information will be displayed.
